Color on it's way out as "Passing Seasons" change the landscapes around us. A friend once said to think of this as the beautiful colors are just going to sleep for a few months and will return to brighten our world once again. Talk about the ever positive thinking type.
Our son finished law school today with the high grades he deserved. Amazing how quickly 6 years disappeared. This is one of the modern buildings on our uni campus with just one guy skating past in 3 pictures.

A rain cloud passing over part of Darwin harbour.
This was taken on East Point Road. I love how the storms/rain in Darwin are always so isolated, so you can see them passing by like this.
This is 3 vertical shots stitched together, but as I wasn't using a tripod, it came out a bit wonky so there was a lot of cropping involved!
Still waiting on my filters... gr. But. I do have a car and am sussing out some places I want to go back and take pictures! YAY!
The last time I went to White Rock was pretty much when I first came to Vancouver. I decided to spend my last day of the long weekend to this place. The first impression wasn't that great. The streets were crowded with cars and people. I stuck at a block for almost 20 minutes. Finding parking was extremely hard as well. I couldn't find any spot near the beach so I parked extremely far.
Other than that, the view of White Rock was actually pretty nice. My memory of this place came back as I walked towards the Pier. As expected, there were tons of people fishing, swimming, and taking photos. I saw couple photographers using Fuji cameras too :). While I was there, two trains were passing by. I had to opportunity to take one of them. I love using slower shutter speed to give the moving subject a sense of speed.
Location: White Rock, BC (White Rock Pier)
A car drove past, didn’t slow down or anything. Don’t know whether other CD’s use this spot? 😂😂
I hope you’ll enjoy more pictures from
yesterday, which I’ll post over the next few days,
A short lived attempt to reduce law outs and trying to save money, CSX A705 pushes westbound toward Taylorsville as they cross over Adair Road just outside of Stilesboro.
Ride it and you will know what it feels like.
