Today's outlook is clear sky with a lots of puffy clouds after a gloomy and rainy yesterday. Despite the sunshine today, it's still very cold outside.

DB Cargo Red Class 66 No. 66082 is seen here passing Holytown Station Platform 2 on service 6L35 which was the 17:39 Mossend Down Yard to Dagenham Dock Reception (Empty IPA Cartics and SNCF Car Flats) along with Container Tanks of Automotive Fuel, while recording I was passed by Class 156 No. 156446 on an Edinburgh to Glasgow Central via Holytown Stopping Service.

A 150 heads south into Church Stretton, passing a 175/0 heading north towards Shrewsbury. The road bottom right is the A49, which runs pretty close to the railway most of the way between Hereford and Shrewsbury. Taken from Ragleth Hill, above Little Stretton, Sunday 18.8.13
A pretty smart thing to do. This young lady pulled up a doggy bed to sit on and read her text book as she waited for her Mom to try on clothes.
This one I didn't take (obviously).
This is of my cousin passing out From RAF Swinderby in the late 1980s.

We had left the Catskills to head north with the promise of fall foliage colour, as it was all muted there.
Despite a website saying colour was at its peak at Lake Placid, we found most trees bare of leaves.
Another search revealed colour promised near to the shore of Lake Champlain, so we could go that way back to Logon, so a plan was hatched.
And on the road to the bridge near to Port Henry, I saw colour in my rear view mirror, so pulled over and so getting this shot.
The fall colour we had been chasing.
I was busy concentrating on this rusty old seafront shelter in Southsea when two young women walked through the shot with their dog.
One of them did a cheeky pose for the camera without pausing and they both walked off laughing.
A priceless fun moment shared with two complete strangers but which was full of humour.
What I like about this image is how it reflects life.
People suddenly appear in your life, create an impact and memories and then are gone. They can be there for a split second or for many years but they leave behind them a memory (like these 2 young women) that cannot be forgotten.
I would have liked to have shown these 2 young women this image but it was a fleeting moment between passing strangers.
My fond memory is the fun they had being cheeky in front of my camera.
All three of us laughed and the moment was gone but captured on film as a record.
