A pair of eagles have decided to hang out in my parent's back yard lately. The cats must look yummy.
It was so wonderful having my parents visit in such a troubling time, its been so long since I have seen them.
This photo and the one of my grandparents have been scanned from badly yellowed Kodacolor prints made in 1952. These are my parents, Jack and Barbara Milton, and they're standing in front of my grandparents' house in Walla Walla, Wash. The fact that they sprang for color film means this was a special occasion. The prints were made the week of June 30, 1952.

But as we know, life’s not always a merry story. #Men, after all, are only mortal. People lose their parents at some stage in life. But perhaps, it is toughest to lose them as a young #kid. The CNY Parent Conference was held at Fowler High School. Parents were shown how to best support their children. Many of those in attendance that spoke languages other than English were provided translators. Photo by John Berry
