11/26/04 Camera: Digital: Canon Powershot S50

The parents for the pupils in 5th to 7th grad arranged an evening for the pupils with karaoke, disco, different games and acitivities in the computer lab which I should take care for. I had planned to teach them how to use a dig. camera, upload them in powerpoint and so on, but they had no interest in being taught, they just wanted to surf the internet, playing games, running around and eating pizza. A good choice - powerpoint can wait!

Welcome Week 2010 Welcome Reception

It was so wonderful having my parents visit in such a troubling time, its been so long since I have seen them.

This photo and the one of my grandparents have been scanned from badly yellowed Kodacolor prints made in 1952. These are my parents, Jack and Barbara Milton, and they're standing in front of my grandparents' house in Walla Walla, Wash. The fact that they sprang for color film means this was a special occasion. The prints were made the week of June 30, 1952.

My parents looked so young then! Well, they still look pretty good for 61 and 62. :)

My dad scanned the original steroscopic 3D pictures from their wedding and it ended up looking just like ordinary pictures.

I loved looking at the steroscopic images and seeing everyone sort of pop out. It was cool.

It was a little more than three years before I was born. They were really, really pretty. ericluck.tumblr.com/
