my parent contact binder - in the front is the parent-teacher conference kit from "really good stuff" - in the back is a list of all parent contact (phone calls, in person, notes, emails, etc all go on the chart - I list the date of contact, who I contacted, what was discussed, etc.)

My dad had a portrait made of an old picture of my parents as a surpise for my mom. Here they are in their mid 20's sitting on the beach of the Caspian Sea. The original photo is in black and white and my dad had to tell the artist the colors from his memory and my mom says he got it exactly right.
