Paramatrix is a b2b service using unique customer data collected from a hand-made textile sensor-array to customize parametric design objects that can be produced in the store and on demand with digital fabrications tools.
The interactive fabrication process starts from a person sitting on the 48-textile-sensors matrix, generating data processed by an Arduino and sent to Grasshopper which modifies a parametric chair. The customised 3d model is then manufactured by a cnc mill and later assembled with wood legs and back.
