As 52 returns from Hazens, it parallels the Turnpike Road in Jefferson, NH. The sun broke through the clouds literally seconds before they came by. The weather today was typical New England. Snow one minute, then the next, it was sunny.

Arguably the best shot of the chase of local 515 was the final one. Rather than park on the side of the Trans-Canada and run out on the bridge, Geoff figured it best to park below. We thought we had more time than we did, and I got caught unable to change from my tele to my prime 40mm. It ended up working for the best, as I was able to remove a few distractions from the frame by simply zooming in. A GP9RM leading a road switcher in good light seemed to be an appropriate way to end the chase, and we grabbed a bite in Brookfield before heading back to Truro.
