Three profiles briefly converge within a single frame, creating a layered study of movement, identity and urban rhythm. The foreground figures form a natural frame around the central subject, transforming an everyday street scene into a graphic composition of shape, light and repetition.

This image was taken from the ice road parkway near the boundary between Banff and Jasper. A very large switchback overlooked the mountain range to the south, creating a great opportunity to capture both the road and the milky way. This image was created from 3 separate exposures - one for the sky, one for the ground, and one for the vehicle lights. The vehicle lights image was the tough one - there was only about an hour or so of darkness to get the image done, and apparently almost no-one drives this highway at 1am.

Sorry to be still so behind on comments and mail. Part of the reason I seem to have no time is that I have joined a gym - age has descended - and it hit me that losing weight was not going to be as easy as it was ten or even five years ago.. The other reason is that this government offers a rather complicated cycle to work scheme - which means that after lots of money going out of your salary and being replaced via a tax exemption you can cycle to work on the bike of your dreams...Well, the bike I've always wanted has been ordered - but I need to be fit enough to ride it.....I've got a few weeks - its hand built to order - but there are a fair number of hills between my house and work....

This is the entrance to the National Wine Centre in Adelaide, South Australia.

One of South Australia’s leading industries and exports is quality wine. The National Wine Centre, opened in 2001, is a public building designed to showcase everything to do with wine. There is an interactive permanent exhibition of winemaking, explaining the technology, varieties and styles of wine. There are also educational facilities, meeting rooms, a function hall, restaurant, cellaring and tasting areas

The architecture of National Wine Centre reflects many aspects of wine making. The exterior, pictured here, looks like a section of a wine barrel. Inside the walls of the Exhibition Hall form a vat-like shape and the industrial qualities of the bridges and ramps crossing the space add to the impression. As the visitor moves towards the tasting areas, the finishes gradually change from the course and robust to the fine and smooth surfaces, reflecting the refining aspects of the winemaking process.

Playing with patterns. It's always a special treat to have two women in my studio at once but even better when they are of very different skin tones.

Parallels

One way or another

Still-

We are bound to an infinity

Drawn as one,

Synchronized,

And aligned perfectly,

Shaded by a single path

Upon a purposeful paper.

But, if the pencil scribbles another mark-

We might find the honesty in

The half inch space of emptiness

In between us.

Finally, wake up to the reality-

That we are now,

Two parallel lines-

Meant

To complement
