Sandwiched between two condos on Panama City beach there is an unusual tidal pool where the fresh water drainage meets the sugar white sand and shorebirds play.

Small crabs wander the beach at night, and families wander the beach with lamps, looking for said crabs.

Judging from the prints, a dog gingerly carried this red rose to the object of its affection... only to have its heart broken.

New buildings in Panama City, Panama

Traveling in Panama, a favorite subject were the poor children of El Chorrillos. Children totally unaware of their poverty. Most eager and happy to have their photos taken ,they never ask for money .

One young girl appeared ,noticing my camera, eager to pose, quickly follow by more, each wanting to be the focus of the photo. Whenever a photographer was spotted, the children would come running .

We were informed that this neighborhood is known locally as the "Redneck Riviera."
