...are amazing. They are v-tall and v-skinny and v-old. We have several on both sides of our street. We figured we'd lose at least one during the four hurricanes last year, but no...and it looks like they'll make it through Dennis, too.

These are pictures I snagged from an ebay auction way back in 2005. This is the Palmtree Instruments 'Airdrums' that was released in 1988 - a drum machine that you played by waving two MIDI enabled batons in the air. I noticed that there's next to nothing in terms of visual presence of these on the web - and absolutely nothing in terms of audio / video demos. Hopefully Matrixsynth will pick this up and motivate an Airdrum owner to do a Youtube demonstration. Or maybe even a sample set? Hmm?

At Shaikh Duaij house in Muharraq, Bahrain.

Palm fronds on a small Palm Tree next to the Santa Margarita River near its entrance to the Pacific Ocean. The site is next to the south jetty at Harbor Beach in Oceanside California.
