no kind of work was done in this photo.
This palm tree we bought in a vase 10 years ago and plant it in my father in laught farm and now is so big. Wish it to be in future like the palmtrees of Marroco.
Well the weather people did say sand from the Sahara would give some splendid sunrises and sunsets and this one did not disappoint ! Knowing there was a palm tree at this point and looking into the sunset allowed some exotic silhouettes I was pleased to have got this shot .
It was very cold and windy...but that didn't stop this person from reading and enjoying the early morning!
A palm tree growing in someone's front garden- makes a change from roses I suppose . An early shot for next week's SSC - obviously not one now .
I remember this tree not so tall way back when a friend of my grandfather lived at this house ( must have been in the 1960s at a guess ) .

Don’t invest too much in this plant’s name. The ponytail palm (Beaucarnea recurvata) is neither a real palm nor does it have ponytails. Its swollen base looks like a palm and the long, thin leaves curve outward, then hang down like ponytails. But does the ponytail palm flower? If you are hoping for flowers and fruit from this plant, there is good news and bad news. While you can get flowering on a ponytail palm, you may have to wait up to 30 years to see it.
