Looks like this - unless you are in traffic then there are just more cars.

 

But I really like Burbank because there isn't traffic and you're only 10 minutes from Hollywood. It's like living in the quiet part of a circus. I have no idea what that means.

These are pictures I snagged from an ebay auction way back in 2005. This is the Palmtree Instruments 'Airdrums' that was released in 1988 - a drum machine that you played by waving two MIDI enabled batons in the air. I noticed that there's next to nothing in terms of visual presence of these on the web - and absolutely nothing in terms of audio / video demos. Hopefully Matrixsynth will pick this up and motivate an Airdrum owner to do a Youtube demonstration. Or maybe even a sample set? Hmm?

Yesterday morning we were awakened by a loud banging on the roof. Doug mumbled, "The wind is blowing stuff down from the palm trees." He rolled over and went back to sleep. I had to go see it for myself.
