A picture I took back in the summer :-) I’m aware my photos aren’t in order anymore :-(

Don't ever plant queen palms. And if you do, for Pete's sake, don't plant 19 of them on your property like the previous owners of our house did. We actually had 9 of them cut down after we bought the place. They planted them so close to each other and some of them were starting to cause damage to the walls in the backyard.

 

Anyways, every few weeks I have to cut down the frods (palm tree leaves) as well as these flower/fruit clusters that make a huge ol' mess. It's a lot of work. It puts strain on my neck (from having to look up while doing this) as well as my arms and hands. I can't wait til we move to a condo where i wont have to do this and cut the crass anymore. lol

I searched for a full week to find a palm tree to silhouette.

Walking two kilometers from the bus stop to the airport. It was a long walk. The sidewalk has a nice pattern of bricks.

The picture was taken near the Kona Inn Shopping Center. Kona Taeng-On Thai Restaurant is in the shopping center. It has great (and affordable) lunch specials!
