After the opening image, this is one of the photographs from the first pair of photographs, in my book, riverrun. The images in the book have been taken over a period of almost 12 years, in various locations. The underlying structure of 'riverrun' is a palindrome; the last image connects back to the first, and each pair of images is complementary. There are some specific literary and musical references - Joyce's use of language and Bach's fugues and variations, which I borrowed from heavily in choosing the photographs and structure.

The palindrome WDP-4 locomotive 20102 from BGKT with a divergent color on its body, unlike other WDP-4's, notches up to tackle the up gradient as it continues its non stop run to Bangalore City from Davanagere leading the Mysore bound Palace Queen Humsafar express from Udaipur.

Does anyone remember Pic a Pop? It used to be exciting to pick all the different flavours for your case of 24 sodas.

A palindrome is considered one of the hardest phrases to create, because it is spelled the same way forwards as it is backwards. And now my brain hurts checking these...!
Red rum, sir is murder
Ma is as selfless as I am
He lived as a devil, eh?
When I was a kid my mother gave me a book of true facts for Christmas and I was instantly fixated on random, useless trivia and true facts. I used to read the Trivial Pursuit cards on road trips (nerd alert), and to this day I still have a passion for the unusual and bizarre factoids.

Trackmen and workers pause for a moment from their routine as a robust looking palindrome WDP-4 from BGKT in LHF negotiates the TSR and the typical SWR gradients pulling the Udaipur bound Palace Queen Humsafar express from Mysore.
One of my father's old watches. Palindromes represented here are "noon" and "Dad" and "Pop".
Apparently in all the world, according to Google, no one has thought of a multi-word palindrome with "noon" in it besides "Sex at noon taxes."
Hey, wait a minute...
BGKT's palindrome WDP-4 20102 gets a taste of SWR gradients as it slows down to counter a TSR with the railway officials in standby to make way for the train that connects two cities with heritage sites, the Palace Queen Humsafar express..

In addition to being a fantastic palindrome, Glenelg is Adelaide's most famous seaside locality, only 20 minutes from the CBD and five minutes from the airport. The Skyline ferris wheel is next to the beach, while the jetty was built in 1969, replacing an older structure that was destroyed in an earlier storm in Holdfast Bay. The beach also commands sunset views over the sea, which is out of the ordinary, compared to the majority of Australian cities as they are mostly located on the east coast.

It was raining hard, but I managed to get a picture of my palindrome car. Civic. It's also a RaceCar.

'Moving liquid, yes, you are just as water
You flow around all that comes in your way
Don't think it over, it always takes you over
And sets your spirit dancing
How I'm moved, how you move me
With your beauty's potency
You give me life, please don't let me go (please don't let me go)
You give me life, please don't let me go (please don't let me go)
Oh, you give me life, please don't let me go
You crush the lily in my soul
Soul'

personally I think this one is over the top... But that bunch of evil alien squirrels made me post it. Yes, them again ;-)
The title is a Dutch palindrome word, meaning 'nebula of life' or 'fog of life'.

So here we have My Gym though I must confess I have never used it, it all looks too much like the tools of torture for me. This is a free to use outdoor gym just a few minutes walk from my house, it was taken on a grey morning and is a panorama made by stitching together 7 shots.
Well, at least I didn't know until I saw this in the newspaper.
