These are old brass door knobs.

A pair of Sarus Crane (Antigone antigone) was enjoying their morning affectionate moments together. They were foraging together in an early winter morning. I managed them from close to study their behaviour and have a frame of their affectionate moment. The slightly smaller female was on the left side and the male was on the right. Pics was taken inside their natural habitat in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India.

A pair of former Soo Line SD60s had CP 889 rolling back towards the Twin Cities to pick up another load of coke.

 

The Indiana Railroad had a contract to haul coke from Minnesota to Indiana for a while, and the INRD power would run through on the CP.

 

It hasn't happened in quite a while.

CN 321 has a pair of SD70M-2s as it heads west with 82 cars. It will go into Taschereau Yard in a short distance to lift more cars. CN 8005 & CN 8884 is the power.

Pair of Rooks at Dickleburgh Moor

A pair of Euchromia polymena. They are moths of the Arctiidae family found in India and south-eastern Asia, as well as on Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo and the Philippines. Also present in the northern part of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. They are called Wasp Moths since they look like wasps which helps keep predators away.

This pair seemed to be checking out a new birdhouse...........I hope.

CN train A408 has a pair of Illinois Central SD70 Death Stars as it rumbles southbound near Buckley, Illinois, on the Chicago Subdivision.

Was very lucky to witness this behavior this morning. How much encouragement does a guy need Lol. Unfortunately he never completed the act he just sat very close to her.

Typically bald eagles have one mate for life. Their lifespan is generally 20-30 years in the wild. This picture shows the different size between male and female, with the female being the larger of the pair.

Stagecoach East Midlands 11274 (SN69 ZNZ) is followed by fellow Mansfield based 10977 (SN18 KTO) as they head out along Upton Way, Northampton, towards Silverstone in advance of the Formula One Grand Prix race on the 3rd of July 2022.

Beautiful either in-flight on on water. These are one of my all time favorite water fowl.
