Paddleboarders on Lake Siskiyou

Paddleboarder paddling down the river Arun in Arundel

A paddleboarder just off the coast at Porthselau, just south of Whitesands Bay, Pembrokeshire.

An active day out on the Willammette River with paddleboarders, swimmers, and boaters; including the famed Portland Spirit in the background.

A paddleboarder at Black Pot Beach, seen from the clear turquoise water at Hanalei Pier in summer.

This image I took with my Hero Black # 7 while kayaking on Paul Lake last week or so. You can't take your eye away from the natural surroundings. This is such a peaceful place for me to visit. It's a popular place for others etc. fishing and paddleboarders. Enjoy!

Taken from what should be part of the Thames Path in Brentford Dock. Weirdly some people there are proposing to barricade parts of what used to be publicly owned social housing surroundings, compulsorily sold off at a huge discount by Thatcher, behind locked gates. Ok, it's private land (thanks to the milk snatcher) but that is such a sad contrast to the Ballymore approach, just across the Grand Union Canal/Brent River, making everyone welcome to ensure a thriving community, with shops, restaurants and just for pleasant waterside walks. The alternative of 'geroff our land' is such a pity.

For my second night in Waikaki, I came back to photograph the sunet with my 70-200mm instead of the 15-85 from the day before. I was able to capture a lot more interesting subjects (boats, planes, paddleboarders, surfers, etc...) with the extra reach rather than worry about going wide.

Sept 6 2012 - A Search and Rescue Exercise was held with US Coast Guard Sector Honolulu, Maui Fire Department & Ocean Safety and Rescue of Maui County. The exercise focused on a search for a missing paddleboarder off the coast of Sugar Beach, Maui.

Some brave paddleboarders along Derwentwater. The water was that calm and still the reflection of the low lying clouds made it look as if they was floating in certain parts

There are 79 species of butterflies in the Noosa National Park. This is a Blue Tiger Butterfly - Tirumala hamata.

Went on my regular walk from Southease to Lewes and back some 10 miles there was lots to see and it was a lovely peaceful day and the weather was kind but not too bright loads of wildlife and one or two other images to make.

This was the only skein of geese I saw all day.

I took my daughter and her friend to Dana Point Harbor (one my favorite places to go hang out) Saturday afternoon. There's a lot of activity and paddleboading is becoming a very common sight. I shot this photo from the big rock jetty. Straight off the card and no cropping.

More pic's to follow.
