This is a photo of a few trees right outside of campus during sunset. Although the leaves have fallen, the tree is still supplying oxygen to it's surroundings. Once the leaves return during the Spring, the tree can be used during micropropagation to generate a new plant.

Bob doesn't even remember this, but six years ago, the day we were scheduled to go to a jazz festival, Bob took a handful of vitamins plus his prescribed medicine and tossed them in his mouth all at once and on swallowing such a large amount, got something caught in his windpipe. He got them down, but a cough developed. He insisted on going through with our musical plans. The next day the cough and shallow breathing had increased to the point that I took him to the nearest hospital where, after sitting in the waiting room for hours, he was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia. They didn't release him for three days and then only if we'd arranged for oxygen to be delivered at home. Now he takes his pills one at a time.
