An ion of Oxygen will have 8 proton and 8 neutrons in the nucleus but 10 electrons in it's cloud giving it a charge of -2. 3. An isotope of Oxygen-15 with an atomic mass of 15 bc of the 8 protons and 7 neutrons in the nucleus and 8 electrons in the electron cloud.
