I had a lot of fun with this and couldn't decide which Overprocessed photo to submit.

This is a composite of The River Street Inn in Savannah, Georgia; portraits of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean from the Malt Shoppe in Stowe, Vt, a faceless mannequin from Stowe; and the cover album portrait of Joni Mitchell taken in the Woodstock Museum in Bethel, NY.

The Skeleton, guarding the Exit, was shot at Industry City in Brooklyn around Halloween.

I played around with Hue and Saturation, and applied a mild Watercolor effect. It was nice to let my imagination run wild without regard to proper color, detail, or exposure.

You can compare this with the original photo directly to the right in my "Overprocessed" Album:

HSoS!!

Weathered duct tape, used to repair a car.

Processed way too much, but it's just an image.

Just a quiet street that most people don't know about.

Played with this picture a few times - latest version with a "bit" of sliding. Used DAP (Dynamic Auto Painter) this time around (Golden_Age_Finer#001).

An attempt at over-processing a picture - on purpose.

This ultimate zoom-in fragment is possibly the best of the series? Simplification at work ;) ))

Driving home in the rain, I thought the yellows and blues looked really nice together on the misty highway. I snapped a couple iPhone shots without looking at my phone screen - safety first! - so the sparkly stardust effect around the lights was a cool surprise when I got home. The downside was blur and noise from the conditions, so I just rolled with it and overprocessed the image for this painting-like effect.

Don't you hate when people overprocess everything?

Here's the spillway at Devil's Den state park in NW Arkansas again. I threw everything I have at this. Processed in Photomatix then Machinery HDR Effects. I thought the rock and the water kinda looked cool all overcooked and stuff.

Non-overprocessed shot below taken just to the left of the big rock.

Way overprocessed with blurred and distorted layers with a solid color layer thrown in for good measure. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday. HSS!

Playing with my prototype flash delay and beam trigger. The interesting thing is that the flash duration was too long, so I got motion blur on parts of the little mini-droplets. In this one, the surface of the water is also very turbulent - I had just increased the drip rate, and I was getting about 8 or 9 droplets between flashes...

Oh, and of course, in the tradition of turbojoe, I way overprocessed this. It's not that interesting a shot on its own, just a test of my homemade hardware...

I think I have been taken over by this overprocessing thing. This is the third time I have done it with yellow (fifth overall). Three aspects to play with, the temperature, the vibrance, the saturation, and the results have never disappointed me.

The Black Affair

Since it is Saturday, it's time to groove to some music..

This is an over processed upload reworked for today's theme.

After a fresh snow fall - a walk in the park, a little camera movement (ICM) and a few sliders moved a bit farther than they should have been (HSS).

I'm open for critique, but keep in mind it's just a hand-held snapshot with 800 iso. It was quite dark. I wanted to catch the sunset, but it was too cold and I decided to head back home. Next time... ;)

I know it's overprocessed...

Happy "Looking close... on Friday!" :-)

Morning hike with few friends to a place called "Mozirska koča" (Mozirje mountain house).

Panorama taken with Galaxy Note 3 and processed in Snapseed. O.k., maybe a bit overprocessed, but I did PP at te top of our route and due to strong sun I didn't see good on my display... :)

What a wonderful life I've had! I only wish I'd realized it sooner.

I was searching for a beautiful forest for a longer period of time and actually I gave up..BUT I searched on google maps and BAAM! About 10km away from my house I found such a magical forest!! *_* I fell in love with it and I'm sorry guys, but I think I'll post more forest shots in the future ;) I was so happy to find it I can't tell you!! Yaay!! :)

Do you think this is overprocessed? If this is so - I only wanted to recreate the feeling I had that afternoon ;)

Photo from Mamiya/Phase One (earlier in my photostream) subjected to a further stage of simple processing. No AI, this is straightforward post.

I'm going to be so busy from now on. We just switched to 7 period days which means I'm going to have a lot to do each night. I only have an hour each night for the internet plus weekends. Blah school.

I miss boating.

I have many more from this shoot that I would like to get uploaded. Also, I've just started to play around with some of the options in Picasa, so please forgive any overprocessing!

I liked this initially because of the change in texture at the join in the wire, but when looking at it in Lightroom the weird shapes in the background bokeh intrigued me. I edited first in mono but the bokeh looked fake, smoke like, and the image seemed overprocessed (maybe this is?). Anyway, I liked how this turned out in the end, odd shapes and all!

Smile on Saturday: Over-processed

In real life, this is a scene of white and gentle greys and browns. I felt a bit reluctant at first to distort it -- poor Mother Nature! -- but it's growing on me. I do like purple!

While taking a wrong turn somewhere in central Tennessee we stumbled onto this place called The Appalachian Center for Craft near Smithville, TN. It operates as part of Tennessee Tech University and is basically an art school. It has a beautiful campus which was in full autumn glory. We parked and enjoyed lunch at one of the picnic tables there and I shot some of the trees while my wife checked out some of the exhibits and classrooms. It's a nice spot and definitely worth checking out if in the area.

Although this tree was beautiful just like it was I decided to do something more artistic with it.

After the Librodo Way, I told myself not to overprocess the photos I took during the workshop since I believe in the essence of its purity. But since our shoot was based on a concept, I'm going to break that promise and try some processing that would further justify our concept.

Thanks for viewing!

Nach eigener Aussage Mainstream-Filme. Könnte aber gerne noch mehr Publikum vertragen - da arbeiten nämlich nette, engagierte Leute.

All processing done on an iPhone with a little PSE to remove some blemishes.

I think they overprocessed this one. In trying to reduce the noise level, and bring out the uniform colours, the image looks too soft to me

You know when you have a certain idea in your head and you just can't realize it.

Thankfully this theme is about overprocessing a photo with an egg...and that's what I did. I overprocessed a photo with an egg. But please:

Don't egg-spect too much.

Thank you for wasting your time 😉 for viewing, commenting and / or adding this photo to your favorites. It's very much appreciated!

I'm wishing you all a wonderful weekend and:

Happy Easter!

Yipes, I'm pretty sure that I remember this was once a pretty shot.

One more reason to love Flickr:

Earlier today, I posted an old IR pic and said I wished I knew how to set the correct white balance. Szmytke left me a comment with instructions and... whaddya know... it's a whole freakin' infranew world!

This one is suffering from too much processing. (Reminds me of those girls in high school with their hair so coarse and porous and brittle from repeated bleachings and permings. ) Anyway... yes, overprocessed... but one of many interesting results I got today. Not great pics, but learning experiences. And... just when I needed it... a new avenue of shooting to explore.

220/365 - Our Daily Challenge - "Blue":

Well, unlike Anna, I have TONS of blue things in my house. I LOVE blue but, rather than shoot more china or glassware, I was in the mood for something more natural today. Thankfully, I found some blueberries in the fridge. They're getting kind of old, so I really had to hunt to find some that weren't shriveled! :) After my heavy overprocessing yesterday, I restrained myself today. lol. Just a little vintage tint and otherwise SOOC.
