At Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown.

This photo was taken in one of my light painting series, concentrating on the portrait of someone, identifying their features by using my finger lights. The finger lights have lit up different areas on the models face, setting different moods and tones from the picture. As well as my finger lights I have overlapped the photo with one of my firework pictures to create a sense of exciting creativity in movement and light which almost distorts the models face. In my sketchbooks I have re-created this effect manually by printing two different images off and overlapping them, as well as using Photoshop for a clean finish in my photo.

Wanted a picture to try out on adobe lightroom. Converted into B AND W and played with the curves. Really pleased with the smooth contrast. Please feel free to comment.

words overlapping paint, stamp overlapping words.

This was our last pre-Covid lockdown Rangefinders session, where the group repeated some ideas from the week before. The idea was to use one of Keith's inventions to create circular patterns in light.

These shots were predominantly Martin twisting the lights around in different shapes with the affixed lights changing colour in different timing patterns.
