This sound and UI monster -- and I mean that in the best possible way -- is the Schmidt Eightvoice Polyphonic Synthesizer.
Here's a little tech teaser: you get eight-voice polyphony, and every one of those voices has four oscillators and four filters!
There does not seem to be a product website yet, but you can find out more about this impressive instrument on Peter Mahr's Blog, blogasys.
Also, do have a look at this demo video produced by the guys from AudioFanzine.
Finally figured out how to set tone detection parameters on the VoIP gateway, since the PBX is French and uses unusual tones. The exact command was "tone 1 338 0 8 0 45 45 1023 1023", just incase anyone ever has a VIP-312 PBX. The oscillators on my PBX seem to be running slow, and as the dialtone is just a single tone, you can hear fluctuations in the tone when you take handsets offhook. It looks like its a power supply fault, not getting enough volts into the PBX. I'd love to build the PBX into a 2U rackmount enclosure with a brand new custom made PSU.

These are pictures documenting the completion of a full upgrade performed on my VGA Synthesizer.
The VGA Synth is an audio video instrument utilizing hybrid analog-digital technologies to hack standard VGA signals to produce a synaesthetic audio video experience. With the aid of an external audio mixer, line-level outputs on the VGA synth are routed to its inputs, creating oscillations through networked feedback loops. These oscillations are translated into sound through the mixer and visuals via custom electronics inside the synth. Additionally, internal oscillators synchronized to the VGA signal are used to generate vertical bands. To provide a bit a variation to the patterns output by the synth, a 3x3 switching matrix with automatic and manual controls is used to reroute signals on one of the three input channels to any combination of the three output channels. The three outputs correspond to the red, green, and blue levels in a VGA video signal. The automatic routing control is derived from the level and frequency of the signals on the input channels.
Originally developed in the Spring of 2007, the VGA Synthesizer features included 3 analog line-level inputs, 3 analog line-level outputs, one 15-pin D-sub VGA input, one 15-pin D-sub VGA output, gain control for the 3 line-level inputs, 3 oscillators synchronized with the video signal's vertical synch pulses, and amplitude controls for the 3 oscillators.
The original chipset included TL084 and TL082 operational amplifiers; CD4040BE, CD4066BE, CD4050BE, and CD40106BE CMOS 4000 series digital logic ICs.
In 2010, the revision eliminated a lot of unstable non-inverting amplifier configurations in favor of an improved system of higher gain inverting amplifiers. Many redundant components were removed; the power supply was simplified and redesigned to produce less line noise; additional manual control over the 3x3 routing matrix was integrated using rotary switches; and the oscillator amplifiers were made independent from the line-level input amplifiers. Finally, the chipset was upgraded from the slow TL series of linear components to the high slew-rate TLC series and the CD4000BE logic was replaced with HEF4000BE.
While touristing with my nephew -- who is a major geek -- he asked if we could go to Silicon Valley to see a couple of sights.
This is the garage where Bill Hewlett and David Packer began developing their first high-tech product - an audio oscillator - in 1938. This is about a quarter mile from Stanford University.
A nice clean example of this board, which I managed to get for quite a good price; they can often be very expensive.
Apart from a few badly inserted chips (bent legs), a broken off crystal oscillator and some minor soldering issues, this board was supplied in excellent condition. Particularly notable is the clean user expansion area, which can often be full of old wire-wrapped connectors. the two S-100 bus connections are also non wire-wrap, and the board comes complete with 2K of RAM (though the unbranded grey 2102 chips in the expansion area are of rather suspect quality).
This board also has my own utility ROM fitted, which provides convenient test routines and some simple demos. It highlighted a problem in one of the grey 2102 RAM chips, which I have now replaced with a spare one that came with the board.

SK6805-2427 is a smart LED control circuit and light emitting circuit in one controlled LED source,
which has the shape of a 5050 LED chip. Each lighting element is a pixel, and the intensities of the
pixels are contained within the intelligent digital interface input. The output is driven by patented
PWM technology, which effectively guarantees high consistency of the color of the pixels. The
control circuit consists of a signal shaping amplification circuit, a built-in constant current circuit,
and a high precision RC oscillator.

BATHE IN SOUND? YOU BET! Three Brainwave oscillators stimulate your mind — and two underwater speakers stimulate your brain. Tweak your sulfur levels and maybe you'll discover what your sacral plexus has known since the beginning of time. Maybe you'll just make a pretty tune. Either way, once you bathe in sound you'll never feel clean doing it any other way.

This is a segment of my Resonance and Standing Waves video, broken into pieces for assignments during the COVID-19 crisis. In this video we make waves on a spring and discover natural frequencies and standing waves. We also carry out a lab using CPO equipment to discover a pattern that relates the frequencies of standing waves that can exist in an oscillator
Complex oscillator based on two sine waves that are each distinctly "warped" by either wavetable data or unpredictable volatile memory information; the results are then morphed between one another for your output timbre. Includes a dedicated modulation oscillator. Pitch can be controlled via internal bus in 200e systems with a 225e MIDI/Preset Manager.

In this VXO (variable crystal oscillator--allowing a crystal to be 'bent' to operate on different frequencies using inductors) modification, the two 7.030 crystals are combined in parallel, and inductors are switched into and out of the circuit. If it works, I should be able to tune from 7.06 to 7.030.5. We'll see. I already have to make another trip to Tokyo for more 12uH inductors. D'oh!

Katerina Undo Creatures Cluster, 2014
Creatures Cluster is an endless combination of living members, composed by miniature robots that live autonomously, receiving their energy from solar cells and generating a variety of soft sounds and tiny movements. The Creatures are developed with two simple analogue oscillator circuits, inspired from the nervous system of organisms. Every module is special and unique and it is impossible to build exact equal. According to the interaction that occurs between them, clusters/systems are developed that organically interact with each other in a reciprocal way. The sculptural and auditory nature of the synthesis – radiation of the chaotic – refers to the functioning of a nervous system, as well as to systems of social cooperation and alliances.
