This photo was taken at a beach on Prince Edward Island. While the ocean views were spectacular, I found myself drawn to the juxtaposition of the angular wooden beach structures against the soft flowing waves and curves of the sand. A bright blue sky and brilliant red sands were just icing on the cake for me.

Day 5 of 366 ( Year 2)

I hope someday somebody wants to hold you for 20 minutes straight and that's all they do. They don't pull away. They don't look at your face. They don't try to kiss you. All they do is wrap you up in their arms without an ounce of selfishness in it.

Mass Social Experiment: Cut out and stick this sign ( red circle that reads Out of Order in white lettering) on any item of public infrastructure you might encounter today, including but not limited to: elevators, garbage trucks, cranes, phone booths, toilets, ventilation units, escalators, entrances to subway stations. The aim is to achieve comprehensive social breakdown across the US.

...

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to do this. I had this great plan to go and color scan this and print it out and take a photograph for my SP of the day doing so. I had a great day with a friend of mine, but had a rough day emotionally and just didn't get around to it. All apologies.

so this si my arealight order! it will take at least 2 weeks (i hope that's what it took in my first order!) so yeah! NONE for trade

On layaway with this girl and will get her in June 2017.

She will be my first bjd in white skin and since her company face-up look really nice I decide to get her with a default face-up.

(Also love her in normal skin with default face-up too, so I think I will get her in that skin tone as well.)

I've missed a chance to get her with Centaur & wing part during the event but lucky that Fairyland has release Sircca which is so similar to Lucywen and I won't miss it this time.

Order of the Flame, sworn enemy of The Treant and The Protector of the Wood (Empire)

This is the only ruin in Ireland accredited as belonging to the Third Order of Saint Dominic.

The Third Orders were lay-people and not clergy. This community of lay-men is in Kilcorban and is (in some way) a spin-off of Athenry and/or Portumna abbeys.

The history is largely undocumented - what are best known are the two statues from this chapel that are on view in the diocesan museum in Loughrea. The Kilcorban Madonna is the better known.

When visiting I found a wooden carving thrown in the ditch behind the chapel. It was clearly a human form and looked quite weathered.

I wrapped it and brought it to the Galway Museum. It turned out to be a pageant prop from the 1980s. It is now back in the corner of the chapel next to the ditch where I found it!

Not much change this week, but I have put up a couple of inspirational postcards I got with an order for BJD clothes last year.

On April 11, 2014, a celebration was held during Carnival Weekend to honor members of Carnegie Mellon University's Order of the May, which recognizes individuals who demonstrate an extraordinary degree of loyalty by giving to CMU each fiscal year.

Title: Architectural Orders: Doric order

Description of work: The historic illustrations included in this project were originally published during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Many originally appeared in publications that predated the widespread use of photography for art documentation. These engravings, line drawings, and plans reflect both the technological and aesthetic standards of their time. By their very nature, they often represent subjective interpretations of the monuments and works depicted, and as such they offer fascinating insights into the cultural values of art and architectural history during the formative years of these disciplines. In the context of these images the terms ""reconstruction"" and ""rendering"" have been used to distinguish between the artists' speculative reconstruction of a ruined work from the artists' perspective drawing or rendition of the design.

Tabebuia roseo alba

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

Tabebuia tree, known as Ipê-branco ou amarelo (white, purple pink or yellow ipê or Pau D'arco) in Brazil

Scientific classification

Kingdom: Plantae

Division: Magnoliophyta

Class: Magnoliopsida

Order: Lamiales

Family: Bignoniaceae

Genus: Tabebuia

Gomez

Species

About 100 species; see text

Tabebuia is a Neotropical genus of about 100 species of large shrubs and trees in the tribe Tecomeae of the family Bignoniaceae. The species range from northern Mexico and the Antilles south to northern Argentina. Most species are on the islands of Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti) and Cuba.

Species in this genus are important as timber trees and as ornamentals because of their showy flowers. Many species are dry-season deciduous and flower on leafless stems at the end of the dry season, making the floral display more conspicuous. The bark of several species is used medicinally. The wood is used for furniture, decking, and other outdoor uses. Remarkably, it has a fire rating of A1 (the best possible, the same as concrete), and is denser than water (it sinks). It is increasingly popular as a decking material due to its insect resistance and durability.

* Tabebuia alba (Cham.) Sandw. (syn.: Tecoma alba Cham, Handroanthus albus (Cham.) Mattos) - Brazil

* Tabebuia avellanedae Lor. ex Griseb. (Pink Ipê, Ipê-roxo, Paud'arco-roxo, Ipê-roxo-damata, Ipê-reto, Ipê-rosa, Ipê-comum, Ipê-cavatã, Lapacho, Peúva, and Piúva ; syn. Tecoma ipe Mart. ex K. Schm., Tecoma avellandedae (Lor. ex Griseb.) Spreg., Handroanthus avellanedae (Lor. ex Griseb.) Mattos, Tabebuia ipe (Mart.) Standl.) from South America, is native of Brazil; bark is used as a medicinal herb

* Tabebuia caraiba (Mart.) Bur. (syn.: Tecoma argentea Bur. et K. Sch., Tecoma caraiba Mart., Tecoma caraiba var. squamellulosa (DC.) Bur. et K. Sch., Tecoma squamellulosa DC., and Handroanthus caraiba (Mart.) Mattos)

* Tabebuia cassinoides

* Tabebuia chrysantha (Jacq.) Nichols. (Araguaney) from northern South America, is the national tree of Venezuela. The flowers are yellow.

* Tabebuia chrysotricha (Mart. ex DC.) Standl. (Golden Trumpet Tree; syn T. flavescens, T. pedicellata), from Brazil. Golden-yellow flowers with red stripes are 2-3" wide in dense clusters appearing after leaf loss in early spring. Sometimes flowers a second time in late summer. Picturesque seed pods are up to 12" long and remain on the tree through winter.

* Tabebuia donnell-smithii Rose (Prima vera or Gold tree), a native of Mexico and Central Americas, is considered one of the most colorful of all trees. The leaves are deciduous. Masses of golden-yellow flowers cover the crown after the leaves are shed.

* Tabebuia dura

* Tabebuia heptaphylla

* Tabebuia impetiginosa (Pau d'arco), bark used as a medicinal herb

* Tabebuia ochracea

* Tabebuia rosea (A.P. de Candolle) Britton (Pink Poui, Pink tecoma or Apama or Apamate; syn. T. pentaphylla (L.) Hemsley, widely but incorrectly applied to this species) is a popular street tree in tropical cities because of its multi-annular masses of light pink flowers and modest size. The roots are not especially aggressive towards roads and sidewalks. It is native of Brazil

* Tabebuia roseo-alba

* Tabebuia serratifolia (Yellow Poui, Ipê, Pau d'arco, Ipê roxo, or Lapacho) is a commercially farmed hardwood notable for its extreme hardness and resistance to fire and pests. Its inner bark is used as a treatment for fungal infections.

* Tabebuia umbellata

* Tabebuia vellosoi

In order to do something romantic me and my wife went on a workshop today. Now we can make a quite tasty chocolate cake and decorate it for the Valentine's Day.

It isn't me on the photo =) It's the man who showed us his cake making skills =)

”No order” kallas just sådär för att den gjordes mellan två beställningar. Gillar den starkt och det var en person som kom från den andra sidan när jag gjorde denna. Det fanns en allvarlighet och en lika stor lekfullhet samt kärlek för att skapa.

//

"No order" is called just that because it was made between two orders. Like it very much and it was a person who came from the other side when I made this. There was a seriousness and an equal playfulness as well as love to create.
