Mid winter flowering of one of my babies

These are some blooming beauties from Sunset Valley Orchids. Some are posted this week on our Ebay store, others for next week!

 

Lc. Fame and Glory is producing these wild color flares. I especially like the flares showing on the sepals. The cross is Lc. Fame and Glory x Blc. Love Sound

It's time that spring started to bust out all over.

 

I'm ready for some green and color.

 

Here's a grouping of orchid blooms from the Washington Park Botanical Garden.

 

There's hope for more color. This is just a tease, but I needed it.

This is a hybrid from Hoosier Orchids. A miniature in a 2" net pot. On this one you can see the delicate texture of the flower. Angraecum florulentum x cucullatum

I love this mini!

Orchids are a long-lasting and particularly elegant type of flower, which would make those receiving one as a gift feel especially pampered. Their graceful appearance draws immediate attention, and their reputation as an exotic and unusual flower evokes a sense of refinement and innocence.

Austin left his orchid in my care. It finally bloomed. And I didn't kill it!
