thanks to all my flickr friends for your visits , invites and comments, it's so greatly appreciated...

This acquired over 9,000 views, probably in a few hours (I was not there to witness it). That day it reached 9,627 views, according to the stats: 99% from an unknown source. The diminutive Musk Orchid, no bigger than a thumb. This tiny colony on Selsley Common, Gloucestershire with no more than 20 plants, oddly seems to have migrated about 20 feet since last year, from a steep down slope to a little tump. They must have decided the tump was a more 'des res' than the slope which was showing signs of hoof damage!
