I can only dream mine have this many blossoms,
This only happens at an optimum climate conditions,
when at night the temperatures drop and create moisture,
unless you have temperature controlled greenhouse
you are fighting uphill battle:-)
It's been some time since I tried any focus stacking, and it's almost the opposite of the shallow DOF, bokeh images I've been into recently, but it really is a very enjoyable technique.
14 images at f/8 captured with Helicon Remote and processed in LR5 and Helicon Focus.
Found these from our trip to Puerto Vallarta Mexico in February where we visited the local botanical gardens and enjoyed a taste of spring. I thought this splash of color would be nice considering the snowy day that we are having here in Alberta.
Pink Orchid macro. This image consists of 15 individual images stacked using photoshop. New to this process and whilst the result isn't perfect I'm reasonably pleased with it

This pendant growing species is interesting even when not in bloom. The large, white flowers are strongly fragrant in the evening in order to attract their pollinators which happen to be moths.

As far as orchid shops go, in Paris, I recommend "Marcel Lecoufle", actually in Boissy-Saint-Léger, an extraordinary and reputed orchid grower. They specialize in small-flower and scented orchids.
