Cal Night at Oracle Park, with the SF Giants playing against the Texas Rangers. This is an annual event where thousands of Cal (University of California, Berkeley) supporters come to the game, along with Oski Bear (the mascot), the cheerleading squad, and the Straw Hat Band (not the marching band). Everyone can get a souvenir - this year it was a Giants jersey in blue and gold (Cal colors) that included a Cal script logo.
These pictures were taken before the game on Willie Mays Plaza. The ceremonial pitch was thrown out by the University Chancellor, who did pretty well. The Straw Hat Band played the National Anthem.
Unfortunately, the Giants lost 2-0.
