It was a great pleasure to attend a match there!

Shelf-in-place, everyone stays home. Could it be better if you can live on the boat for quarantine? 3 more weeks to go. Be safe and stay health!

Photo was taken on July 18th 2019 -- the "before times" when people attended baseball games and fires weren't turning the sky yellow and brown -- it was a heck of a game featuring 9 innings by Bumgarner of the Giants, and 8 innings by Syndergaard of the Mets -- the game was tied till the 16th when the Giants finally won.

This is Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, formerly SBC Park, formerly AT&T Park, former Pac Bell Park -- I kind of feel sorry for this ballpark and some of its brethren that suffer identity crises every couple of years as some new corporate entity pays the big bucks for naming rights. I'll shamelessly quote Wikapedia on the subject: "Some fans still refer to the stadium as Pac Bell Park, as it was the first name given to the stadium. Others have nicknamed the stadium "The Phone Booth" or "Telephone Park", in response to its multiple name changes, while some referred to the stadium as "Some Big Corporation Park" during the SBC years. Others yet refer to it as "Mays Field" in honor of Giants great Willie Mays or simply "The Bell".[18] Many also refer to the stadium as "China Basin" or "McCovey Cove" after its location, which would be immune to changes in sponsorship naming."

In any case, this ballpark has one of the best (if not the best) views of any MLB park--it is an excellent place to watch a game, especially on the 3rd base side as where this picture is taken.
