Kayak-tivists at McCovey Cove

Kayak-tivists were one group of many climate justice activists along the race route of the JP Morgan (Chase) Corporate Challenge, a 3.5 mile footrace along the San Francisco Bay.
"JPMorgan Chase is the world’s largest funder of fossil fuels. Since the Paris Agreement was adopted in 2015, Chase has provided more than $382 billion to the fossil fuel companies that are driving the climate crisis. We’re here to demand that they stop financing the fossil fuel industry and stop undermining the Paris Agreement."
It was Greek heritage night at Oracle Park in San Francisco, the giants have different nationalities represent their culture.
At 17 innings the 'Strike out Indicating K's Sign' is full and what few fans are left fill in, reminds me of the YMCA video...
When the Giants are at home, these seats are almost always full.
Renamed as Oracle Park beginning with 2019 season.
Cal Night at Oracle Park, with the SF Giants playing against the Texas Rangers. This is an annual event where thousands of Cal (University of California, Berkeley) supporters come to the game, along with Oski Bear (the mascot), the cheerleading squad, and the Straw Hat Band (not the marching band). Everyone can get a souvenir - this year it was a Giants jersey in blue and gold (Cal colors) that included a Cal script logo.
These pictures were taken before the game on Willie Mays Plaza. The ceremonial pitch was thrown out by the University Chancellor, who did pretty well. The Straw Hat Band played the National Anthem. When I was a student, the Oski costume was worn by a relatively short male, but I think that this Oski was female, judging from the gymnastic flips.
Unfortunately, the Giants lost 2-0.
Go Bears!
