This photo apparently shows that my eyes are as lovely from the inside as the outside.

Visited my optometrist this morning before starting my final day of Tech Ed. Since I haven't had an eye checkup since May 07. Turns out my prescription hasn't changed though I thought it may have.

One of the key reasons I like my optometrist so much is that I can geek out with them. We talked over how the practice of optometry has changed over the years, the computer system he uses and that he can now take digital photos of my retinas then zoom and overlay filters to check for signs of disease etc. I also heard about the latest in lenses, it's becoming more afforable to get lenses that you throw away each day and I got some samples. Will wait for NetOptical to stock them before I become a regular buyer though.

(I do realise that the pic looks like boobs, snicker away people, I'll still love you)

Again at the eye doctor's office with another covert photo of the implement that will be soon gazing into my right eye.

My eye doctor recently retired but he was nice enough to allow me to photograph his optometry equipment. His gear is too old for today's "modern" offices so all will be donated to developing countries.
