Decent brewery a short bus ride from downtown. Nothing was bad but nothing was overly great either. Lots of room to social distance. We stopped by twice on this trip.
It is the season of harvesting. The mood of the farmers are offbeat. Only a dark sky can fulfill their optimism.
Shot taken from Narayan Pakuriya Murail railway station – situated at west of Kolkata. The soil is very fertile with small fragmented plots. Farmers are very poor with absolute dependence on rain water for cultivation. Just a bumper monsoon can fulfill their dreams of bursting harvest.
England start the day on 267 for 4, replying to Australia's 284 all out. Burns is 125* and Stokes 38* and we're optimistically looking for a lead of at least 100.

I visited Chicago a day before they announced that the Olympic bid went to Rio. Ads were up everywhere, and PA announcements of Olympians boosting the city ran nonstop.
Well it's not the best retirement plan but it's worth the exercise in optimism.
I've always thought those scanners they have at the supermarket that tell you if you've won or lost should shout things like this at you when you've lost.
*Loser - Get back to work.
*You've won! Just kidding, you're still a loser.
*Don't you get tired of me telling you you're a loser.
*Hey you lose and I'm keeping the dollar.
It would be great for those addicted to gambling and more people would check their tickets in the privacy of their homes instead of creating a isle blocking line only to suffer public humiliation. Just a thought....
