Glass front window to Camp Quality Adelaide office www.campquality.org.au/ on Gouger Street, an organisation that uses therapy to bring optimism and happiness into the lives of children and families affected by cancer.
Their motto is "Laughter is the best medicine", and I heartily agree.

Optimism should maybe be one of everyone's favourite things,
is seeing the glass half-full, even if it isn't!
After last night's indulgence "shot" , a cold glass of water helps to awaken the senses and speed up the return to normalcy! Here's to a great weekend, friends!

Whether or not well placed, optimism is a good thing. I wish optimism on everyone.
Took this in the mirror, very overexposed so the background blew (which I wanted) but it also totally washed out any color in my face. I went with it and desaturated. Added some clouds, because I love clouds.

It's been a pretty bad day; I'm not going to lie. So I'm posting this image as I imagine laying on my back in a field (in summer, of course), watching the birds fly overhead and telling myself that things are looking up.

Inside the physic garden in Hitchin is this sun dial designed around a pestle and mortar. However, the message inside "Disease Doth Oft Rise Above Medicine" is not the most optimistic I have heard. Though, I guess it is still accurate!
Today is a big day. Had's feeding tube removal day. REALLY hope it doesn't hurt to come out in the same way it hurt to go in! Once we get past this, we can resume some normalcy, I think!

This mural on one of the subways under the St James Barton roundabout in Bristol seems to sum up the life of those people hoping for spare change from passers-by as they sit hopefully under their blankets. This subway does lead from the new 'Bear Pit' market to the "People's Republic" of Stokes Croft so maybe room for just a little optimism.
