Bought a Sigma 28-300mm with macro in London, and got the perfect oppurtunity to try it out on the squirrels by the south-flowerwalk in Hyde park. (Thanks alot Elfworld for this awesome title :)

So today I was back at school, which meant limited photo oppurtunity again. These are my dice, with no relation to my day whatsoever! Until tomorrow.

Madingley Hall, Cambridgeshire, 2 Apr 2015
Madingley Hall was built by Sir John Hynde in 1543 and occupied as a residence by his descendants until the 1860s. It is surrounded by parkland. Queen Victoria rented the Hall in 1860 for her son Edward (the future King Edward VII) to live in while he was an undergraduate at Cambridge University. The family sold the Hall in 1871.
The Hall and its surrounding park and farmland have been owned by the University of Cambridge since 1948 and is currently the home of the Institute of Continuing Education.
The earliest recorded image of the gardens is an engraving dating from 1705, showing a formal, Dutch-style garden to the north and east of the Hall. This formal style soon fell victim to the prevailing trend for naturalistic parkland, however, and in 1756, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown was employed to create fashionable, modern gardens. The Yew Topiary Gardens were added in 1927.
I did not know whether it was open to the public, so when I saw an advert for an Open Day I seized the oppurtunity.
As one of the Official Photographers for the Worcester Music Festival I had the great oppurtunity to photograph some amazing acts. This was one of my favourite photos from the event.

Day 2 of our diving adventures began on dive site 777, followed by Tuna Alley. Our first oppurtunity to spear the invasive Lion Fish as well, there are many videos to go with this set of photos. An amazing day, started with a fantastic breakfast cooked on board.
I've gone two days without doing a YIP. But with the gorgeous sky today, there was no way I was letting the oppurtunity slide again. This is the historic Adluh Flour mill in Columbia, SC. I tried to use a mostly empty parking lot to get new vantage points.
The students of the university Coburg offered the oppurtunity to make a DIY upcycled lamp, which I of course happily accepted. With the help of a friendly technically talented French young lady (see middle) we were able to create a lampshade. My one was called "Levin" dedicated to the name of the male student who sewed the pieces of the lamp together.

Zuri wasn't feeling good and I took the oppurtunity to take photos of her while she didn't move a lot.
A cool sunny mid-day last Monday 4/5, I was with my 8 year old daughter outside and mother's instinct took over me. I told her we will both take a walk and side by side we stroll with no particular place in mind. I said, "Mommie wants to take some pictures somewhere..." and my daughter reluctantly agreed... I was expecting the usual sceneries of white sakuras amidst the busy city where I live in...
Out of nowhere, these rare pink flowers greeted me... I said its "rare" because its not as abundant as the white sakura. These are another breed of sakura, I supposed.
A few days from now, these blossoms will say goodbye to me... glad I found these one before its totally gone.
I just dont know why Im so over enthusiastic about sakura, that made me want to go to the parks almost everyday. I secretly cursed @#&%!!! when it rained every now and then, limiting my hanami (flower viewing) mood, while wishing that nature wouldnt destroy another work of nature...
Sakura and its 3 weeks lifespan... will have to say goodbye to them in a few days. Another year of hanami is over. Thanks for the oppurtunity to be able to view them this year. *sigh*
...well a long time ago for sure. Nowadays the bus is an oppurtunity for "sleepovers" on the farm.

Im afraid to say this kindle isn't mine, when I saw it at a relatives today I loved the picture on the front. Knowing it would probably be the only time for me to get a couple of snaps I took the oppurtunity to do so. Im really not happy with PAD effort at the moment, the time just runs away with me during the day then by the time I get home the natural light has gone and nothing turns out right. Im looking forward to the weekend to get my teeth into some ideas that I have.

Active Canvas presented stunning Yakshagana Performances by a children's group ' Saligrama Makkala Mela' from Udupi. It takes many years of hard work and commitment to learn Yakshagana and these children (8 - 15 years) are amazing in their talent.

As one of the Official Photographers for the Worcester Music Festival I had the great oppurtunity to photograph some amazing acts. This was one of my favourite photos from the event.
Their name was Signal 6 and they were one of the first bands I photographed. I really loved the effect on this shot.

This is a comedic picture of Andrew Wang at Princess Tea Room, I felt like it was too good of an oppurtunity to miss.
This is probably one of the most special hats I've ever done.
Yarn is a special too as it's hand spun from wonderful Jess/Milky Robot: it has the most deep shades of burgundy, blue, violet, green and turquoise plus a little sparkling silver.
The flowers are in black felt with a touch of silver glitter too.
The beads are in faceted crystal, all clear but with a burgundy heart.
I've add a "Made in Italy" silver charm on the side.
A very subtle and rich hat at the same time!
It's the first time I use an handspun yarn, so thank you Jess for giving me the oppurtunity and thank you Erica to have invited me to contribute!
On Sunday, i got the oppurtunity to photograph Underage Festival for RedBull Reporter. This is most certainly the biggest oppurtunity and event i have covered in my life. I photographed bands such as Hadouken, Don Broco, Ellie Goulding and Professor green.

Professor Green, possibly the biggest person i've shot, proper good live, struggled with the harsh yellow lighting.

Karate Monkey's new drivetrain. SIS 2011 wrecked the drive train so a new BB and chain was in order... and a perfect oppurtunity to change the ring and cog. Used Homebrewed Components cog and ring. Great stuff! The chain is a ultra cheap KMC chain.

A cherished project of mine to capture and document the life by the gigantic river Brahmaputra that enters India in the north-eastern frontier state of Arunachal, travels through Assam and has its confluence with the ocean in Bengal.
I have been having discussions with quite a few eminent who have been born an brought up on the banks of this river. I have just started the project as I my work has started taking me to Dibrugarh University where I have become a catalyst to empower the youth of Assam. It is a blessing.
First of the dancers who have been kind to participate are two students, Sattriya dancers, from centre of performing arts at DU - Bhagyashree Senapati and Purasmita Bordoloi; Also I had an oppurtunity to capture.a bunch of youth who do their physical training on the banks of Brahmaputra, The fishermen's village that lives on Brahmaputra

Taken at the start of the womens tour 2014 in Oundle, Unfortunatley (or fortunatly dependant of your view point) I got stuck in a traffic jam due to the rolling road closures for 20min, so took the oppurtunity to grab the camera and get some shots as they passed by
Had the oppurtunity to shoot my cousin's kids portraits, too bad i made little B cry heheh!

This Sable bull was a little weary of me sneaking up on his herd. And kept his eye on me from the moment I started crawling in the grass, luckily this gave me a perfect portrait oppurtunity. This was taken on a visit to a game farm in Mkushi, Zambia 2010.

Photographing for Red Bull was a really good experience, meeting other 'togs and free red bull. Not to bad at all.
Hadouken, my inner 15 year old was pretty excited seeing these for the first time and getting to photograph them, they tore the place apart, biggest dust cloud during their set.
