My 23 months old granddaughter trying out my latest acquisition. -NOT- a posed photograph. She sat down and grabbed the lever without any prompting. Check out that form! Future DX-er perhaps? She does know that the key will make different sounds when the lever is pushed one way or the other. Teaching her ABC's now :-)

OPERATORS by TRANSFORMA (DE)
Operators is the culmination of a series of recent studio studies. These have been clustered together to form a stage of experimentation with the Operator at the center going about his work. Manipulating the surrounding elements, he creates acoustic and visual signatures which are spliced together to form a narrative. As images blend between artifice and the ‘reality break’, the resulting ‘film’ is juxtaposed against its very own ‘making of’.
In this live performance Transforma and sound artist Markus Hübner create a sound and video stream which treats video, original sound recordings and music in no hierarchical order.

Rail operators involved in moving car 229 from Gold Line yard to delivery track. This Siemens P2000 light rail vehicle is the last one to leave the Gold Line. It's destination was either the Green Line or Blue Line.
The P2000s were replaced with the AnsaldoBreda P2550 LRVs, as seen at the right.
