Thanks to the latest iPhone OS4, Bluetooth keyboards now work natively like for isntance my old iGo Stowaway. This means you no longer have to spend ages typing emails or tweets with your thumb. Yay.
In case anyone was wondering why I haven't updated flickr for a while...
Dead hard drive. TF fixed it, because he is made of tea and awesome, but doing a system reinstall is taking forever. I just now realized all my photoshop plug-ins and custom actions are gone.
sigh.
The good news? I keep my photographs on two mirrored external hard drives. BACK YOUR DATA UP. I would be weeping even harder if I lost truly important stuffs. (although there are a few videos of the kitten on the old drive I'm attempting to recover.)
Some of the games I'm always playing on my HTC One X (Android v4).

Rescued from the bin from a previous employer. I had no idea what to do with it because two computers isn't much of a network. I thought it would come in useful at some point, and look, I was right: Nostalgia!
Computers are like air conditioners. They work fine until you start opening windows.

I hate it when my cameras have the file extensions in caps. Good 'ol Command Prompt allows you to change them all in seconds, handy when you have 100s of photos to change.
Just got OSX 10.7 Lion installed, everything seems to be working fine and everything seems a bit snappier. I'll beat the crap out of it over the next few days or so and see how it works ... for now it's WAY past time to go to bed.
The one thing I've noticed already is that support for older "Power PC" apps is gone. My old version of Quicken does not run, also Snapz Pro needs an update, it's not working right. The new Apple Mail is pretty awesome.
I had to move from xp home to xp pro this week. to use visual studio (for the new project I'm working on).
Luckily it was a relatively smooth upgrade, but it'll still take weeks to get everything back in order.
When it comes to the worldwide smartphone operating system (OS) market, Android and iOS are together, but not the same. Google and Apple’s mobile operating systems are, to no one’s surprise, completely dominating the world, shipping on a combined 96.3 percent of smartphone units in 2014, acc...

Yesterday's Windows 10 install has continued to work well. I'm digging the new UI and the return of the start menu (although since my home gaming PC skipped right over Windows 8, I haven't really missed it on this system. Only my work PC runs Win8 and it's crazy version of the start screen.)
Haven't tried the voice portion of Cortana yet, but I might this weekend. Did run a few text searches through it and it was nice. Very reminiscent of searching for things on Mac OS. Although the "ask me anything" phrasing is a neat way to get users to interact with it and convey what it should be able to do :-)
