You are cordially invited to a ribbon cutting for the opening of the 7.7-acre area of Foothills Park on Saturday, November 10th at 11:30am. We will also be celebrating the reopening of the Los Trancos and Costanoan Trails, which have been closed for the past 18 months. The 7.7 acre parcel is located past Oak Grove picnic area. Parking is available at Oak Grove. After the ribbon-cutting there will be a talk from Grassroots Ecology staff about the native plant nursery and a ranger-led tour of the site. #openspace #paloalto via Instagram ift.tt/2qbneGY
Sorry to say but part of the Los Trancos Trail has slid into Los Trancos Creek. We are closing the trail. No time line for reopening until we get an assessment on repair needs. We will keep you posted. #openspace #paloalto via Instagram bit.ly/2RCng62
Notice anything different about this map on the Foothills Park interpretive center? There's no writing on it. All trails are open!
