"Gold Leaf" is on view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 151. This pendent created to convey the form of a leaf was created in and around ca. 2300–2100 B.C. during the Early Minoan II–III period. The ornaments are all made from gold and their dimensions are H.: 2 1/16 in. (5.3 cm). I really enjoy the fine details on all of the pendants. This piece was gifted from the bequest of Richard B. Seager, in 1926. The accession number is 26.31.508. This image is in the public domain.
