This is a few branches off our hackberry, a desert plant which is pretty scrubby most of the time but in the fall has these little orange berries. I have never brought some inside until now. I love how sometimes we get "new eyes" that help us see something differently than we did before.

Thought I'd go a little more realistic this time. That is an official badminton net, made in Canada, some Gosen shuttlecocks, and, a Wimbledon racket made by Wright-Ditson. The racket truly is a work of art, and I am seriously considering making a wall display including some of my rackets and shuttles, once I get some of the shots put into gallery frames. (For sale, by the way. lolol The photos, not the rackets. lol)

Nice to play about with textures again. I am VERY behind with my beyond layers assignments but hope to get caught up with some next week on holiday instead of taking a siesta ;-) I also hope to get caught up with my contacts photostreams.

Today is the Great Friday!
It's the Friday before EASTER . In Sunday I'm celebrating Orthodox Easter !
It is custom to paint eggs . To color them in red color, but all other colors are more then welcome too :)
Tradition is the presenting of red colored eggs to friends while giving Easter greetings.

Shot this lowly, but, lovely, early spring blossom in my studio today. Shot it from the front, and the back. Normally it would bloom in gyms, and badminton clubs at various times during the year. Of course the common name of this gym beauty is, "birdie". Just don't call it that in front of me. lol One of my favourite sports to coach and play. Competitive badminton is an amazing thing to spectate. These shots are part of my ongoing sports shots. I have done badminton before, but I really like what I did today.

This was the start of the greatest Salsa ever performed by the dancing Gulls. There were sparks aflying and fireworks crackling......

Today I went to the one of my favorite cafes where serves cafe latte/cappuccino with beautiful art on the surface ( like this ) with my daughter, then DORAEMON came to me!!
Surprised!!!
Of course my daughter was excited!! :D

It's still the month for green. Sea smoothed quartz on a glass chessboard. I think I used a Litra with a green filter under the glass. Found at Mispec Beach, New Brunswick.

Today I made them with my daughter. Strawberry and Custard cream.
If you're Mac Users, the colors appear beautifully on "Safari".
One of the things that drives me batty about bloggers is that they jibber jabber endlessly, saying little of significance. I'm practically screaming at them to Get Around To Your Point!!! Actually, I just turn them off when their jibber jabber becomes jibberliciously jabberness. Yeah, I said it.
