It's time just for me.

I'm trying to take a photo of the Menorah each night of Chanukkah on a different angle.

The Flickr Lounge-Playing With The Light

I was drinking a glass of Ozonated Water and the sun was setting and hit it and this is what I got. I thought it was so pretty.

After keeping it for at leat 4 years it's even better than before.

When we read a story, we inhabit it.

The covers of the book are like a roof and four walls.

What is to happen next will take place within the four walls of the story.

And this is possible because the story's voice makes everything its own.

Today is my Christmas day ... a very special day ...one of my favorite holidays.

We are celebrating Christmas for three consecutive days, beginning with Christmas Day. The Serbian Orthodox Church uses the traditional Julian Calendar, as per which Christmas Day (December 25) falls currently on January 7 of the Gregorian Calendar.

During this festive time, one is to greet another person with " Christ is Born " which should be responded to with "Truly He is Born"

P.S: Haven't I told you I love holidays !!! :)

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.

We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

“A concise poem about our work as stated elow

A place without being

a thought without thinking

creatively, two dimensions

suspended animation

possibly a perfect imitation

of what was then to see.

A frozen memory in synthetic colour

or black and white instead,

fantasy dreams in magazines

become imbedded inside my head.

Artistic views

surrealistic hues,

a photographer’s instinctive eye:

for he does as he pleases

up to that point he releases,

then develops a visual high.

Shot this lowly, but, lovely, early spring blossom in my studio today. Shot it from the front, and the back. Normally it would bloom in gyms, and badminton clubs at various times during the year. Of course the common name of this gym beauty is, "birdie". Just don't call it that in front of me. lol One of my favourite sports to coach and play. Competitive badminton is an amazing thing to spectate. These shots are part of my ongoing sports shots. I have done badminton before, but I really like what I did today.

We are passionate about bringing a relaxed approach while creating beautiful, natural and vibrant images.

We are all broken in some way, shape or form. Sometimes, it's the ravages of life. Sometimes, it's the consequence of our own stupidity, or hubris. Whatever the cause, it helps in relationships to know, that everyone is dealing with something. This vase was featured in previous black eyed Susan photos. The other evening, I set up a shot for the birds and squirrels using Jenga blocks and peanuts. Something knocked over the entire table, and this vase, which had been on the deck. lol The colours are from three cleaning micro-cloths I use for cleaning the car.

Been shooting a lot of green in the ole lightbox. lol Gotta get ready for March after all. This time, instead of using my clear glass chess board, I decided to use my clear glass Tic Tac Toe board. (Yeah, that's a thing. Who knew?) Gotta admit, shooting this puppy was challenging for so many reasons. This was the best of the worst.

From a roll of film taken sometime last year and finally processed this about a month ago.

Day 90. Wow.. Crazy stuff!

I thought I'd do something simple this morning, to make up for yesterday. I also wanted to inject some colour back into my stream, as I hate seeing several black & whites i n a row, however much I like them. So here's some OJ ;)

Today is gonna be a long day, as ever. I hate Mondays. But oh well, I'll keep smiling :) Not long to got now.

Also, I would like to know what you guys would like to see from me? Feel like you're not all as interested anymore, so any ideas of what you'd like? I can't promise anything but... yer :)

...one for beauty and one to eat!

And mechanical pencils were... Ummmmmmnh... Cigarette lighters? What the what?!?!? Yeah. It's a vintage mechanical pencil from Stewart or Conway Stewart. Not sure, though it says Stewart on the pocket clip. From my Pop Pop's office equipment. Pencil still works, but I'm not sure if the lighter was ever used.I wanted the shallow DoF, so, it's all good. I have a lot of memorabilia of my Pop Pop Herb, my dad's dad. I'm the only son of an only son.

today i got a basket of peach from the neighbor.

they are very small and beautiful colors. i enjoy many arrangements

with potters i have:))

momo is peach. this small peach inviting me to the dream of poet utopia...

The older I get, the more I get older. DEEP THOUGHT for today. The watch, and the Camp Meeting songbook both have familial significance for me. The watch to my great-grandfather, and the book to his dad. My great-grandfather was born in 1877, and his dad in 1822.Pretty interesting guys. Been thinking a lot about time, lately. Mostly, about how little of it I have left. lolol "Time and tide", I have learned here by the sea, "They wait for no man." Oh, the title? From "Fly Like An Eagle"

Thought I'd go a little more realistic this time. That is an official badminton net, made in Canada, some Gosen shuttlecocks, and, a Wimbledon racket made by Wright-Ditson. The racket truly is a work of art, and I am seriously considering making a wall display including some of my rackets and shuttles, once I get some of the shots put into gallery frames. (For sale, by the way. lolol The photos, not the rackets. lol)

They're growing longer and longer growing longer and longer so I cut the top and now keep it in the water. :-)

They're prepared for the apple cake.
