I just couldn't resist not to post this shot. It was (obviously :) ) made after Aleksa's and mine cooking and preparing delicious .... oh ... did I said delicious - GOMBOCE / Plum Dumplings
If anyone is interested I'll post some receipt I have found on the internet, just.... there is one little sad things about gomboce....... they don't last long ... yummy ♥ !

Plum Dumplings
An Austro-Hungarian classic, comfort food supreme. Remember to use mealy potatoes for a nice creamy mash. Pick smaller-sized plums. Alternatively, you can use small apricots, they make lovely dumplings.
For a dozen dumplings:
500 g mealy potatoes
250 g soft flour
1/2 sachet baking powder
50 g butter
1 egg
12 plums
+
50 g butter
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
vanilla sugar
caster sugar
cinnamon
Boil the potatoes and drain them. Put them in cold water to cool, then peel and mash with butter. Add the flour and baking soda, knead into a soft dough. If the dough is too soft and sticky, you can add one spoonful of flour, but not more, as it needs to stay soft. Form a roll and divide it into 12 parts (see picture). Cut it into discs and place a plum in the middle of each disc, wrapping the dough around it. Close the "stitches" by pinching the dough. Roll between your palms to get even-shaped balls.
Boil a big pot of salty water and drop the dumplings in it, one by one. Cook for 15 minutes at medium heat. In the meantime, melt the butter in a frying pan and roast the breadcrumbs in it. By the time they're done, the breadcrumbs should be golden brown and resemble damp sand in texture. Place three dumplings on top of the breadcrumbs and roll them all over the pan surface to cover with breadcrumbs from all sides. Place in a serving dish. Once they're done, pour the remaining breadcrumbs on top and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
Serve while warm by cutting a dumpling in half and pouring some caster sugar over it (I prefer cane sugar, but this is a matter of taste). You can sprinkle some cinnamon on top if you like. The dough is soft, the fruit sour and juicy, and the breadcrumbs and caster sugar crunchy and sweet! A real symphony of taste.

Getting ready for Easter this Sunday.Maybe a chocolate egg hunt in the yard if the weather holds out, otherwise in the house. For the grand-kids, not for me. I started doing these shots at the end of February, and I have lots, so buckle your seatbelts. Hope the colours give a smile.

We tend to celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied ad multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.
We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

underwatergunfight: @forestwanders I'm gluten & dairy-free as well, so it would be extremely lovely to actually eat with friends who not only understood that, but had similar diets. Sometimes when I go out to dinner with friend/family, I feel like an inconvenience. If I call ahead, though, and explain, the restaurant is usually more than happy to cater to my needs. (& that often means I get something super delicious that wasn't even on the menu!)
violet_woods: @underwatergunfight !!! Agree wholeheartedly, my body can't handle it anymore, and I agree it makes things harder in a sense but luckily the people around me understand I will get sick if I ingested the products. Now I wish even more we could dine!
