I got this new flickr photo layout today. Am I the onlyone who has it or does everyone have it? I think it is a improvement from the latest one though

I had one single blooming rose today and thought I better capture it before its gone. I liked how the sun was shining in the background. It did make for some great bokeh!

"A new and published study suggests the brain responds to Oreo cookies quite like it responds to actual drugs – at least if you’re a rat. The “pleasure center” of the brain, the nucleus accumbens, apparently gets just as activated in response to Oreos as it does to cocaine and morphine, which could actually have some major public health implications. While the study was done in rats, the authors say it’s likely relevant to humans as well, and could explain why people have such a hard time resisting eating an entire sleeve of the cookies. The study, which will be presented at the Society for Neuroscience’s annual conference next month, also made another discovery: Rats, like humans, like to eat Oreo’s creamy center first."

Considered for Can Am but rejected in favor of turbosupercharging the 4.5-5.0-5.4 litre flat 12. This was a double flat-8 Formula 1 motor. The original 917 flat 12 was 1.5 of the pistons and cylinders of the flat 8s- thus 4.5 litres, but had its own 6 + 6 crankshaft with power take-off from a gear in between the front and back sets of cylinders. The 16 used the same power take off but each half was a full 8 cylinder 3 liter motor.
With this open, roadster, body, it was said to be able to lift the front wheels off the ground unless the throttle was applied gently.

This is a double version of the 908's 3 liter flat 8, so there are two complete sets of left and right exhausts, one for each set of cylinders. Take a close look at the back of the car here...

OMEGA was a short lived luxury French brand (1922-1929).
It went bankrupt with the 1929 depression.
Before that, they built in Levallois (Paris suburbs), luxury and sophisticated cars.
They did not have to be afraid of a Bugatti.
This is the only survivor, with its straight 6 cylinder 3 litre overhead camshaft engine.
