After seven hours online learning, I felt i needed to clear my head, and seeing it was a fine early spring day, and warm and sunny, what better?
Not many wildflowers in bloom in the hedgerows or field edges, but still nice to be out, and I got to talk to some people, rather than just the cats.
Home in time before the warmth went out of the day, and time to put the kettle on.

Thirty Vanderbilt students have completed 20 projects, with seven more in progress, and the projects have impacted at least 2511 Vanderbilt students so far.

Some courses are taught compltely online giving students the opportunity to attend course they may not otherwise be able to attend. Although many find this type of learning more difficult, the benefits for others are great.
Craftsy was founded in the spring of 2010 by four tech guys who wanted to create a new high-quality approach to online learning, and it launched in May of 2011. Our founders hoped to create a convenient education platform that captured the magic of a live classroom, including interaction with an expert instructor and fellow students.
Some of the first months were spent building a video player that would deliver the kind of in-class experience they dreamed of. After the founders first gave wine tasting and economics classes a whirl, John's mom, an avid quilter, suggested trying quilting instruction, and from there, it was history!
