I took Mary Ann Moss' online class and made my very first remains of the day journal. The journal measures about 15x21 cm.

From a selfie shoot I did during Susan Tuttle's online class.

Made for a class on the net. "2013 Mermaid Circus" with Jane Davenport and Teesha Moore. A lot of work has to be done during those 8 weeks. Not sure I will manage... Well.... I will do what I can.

If you are a professional or a mother, then online classes may not appeal to you. But there are several reasons why taking online classes can work for you. Find out and decide for yourself. To know more, click here: www.degreeretreat.com/reasons-for-taking-online-classes.html

Multitasking during the online classes.

Created for and inspired by Altenew Academy's For The Guys online class.

These are my first pages for Red Velvet Art's Tell Your Story class. This is my first time keeping an art journal. I had so much fun doing this and can't wait for the class to really get started.

Journal page created after viewing Cathy Johnson's watercolor sketching online class lesson one video. I sketch with watercolor regularly but I don't usually splatter or write a title with watercolor - both things were fun to try.

This past summer I took an online class with Carla Sonheim about making these "Junk Books". The name comes from the fact you use all your unwanted junk mail to make the books. I decided to put a couple together so I could work on them as time allowed. Most of the time is spent in preparing the junk mail and putting the book together. The rest is the really fun part. I have a set of the Junk Book I made last summer that should give you a better of idea of what I am going to do.

In addition to being a wife and mother, home schooling my children, teaching an online class, and being a photographer (and needing psychological help for attempting all this), I am also vice president and event coordinator of a local photographer's association called The X/Stop Project. :) We have several big annual events, one of which we've entitled Shoot N Shop. It's a two-day event where we shoot and then photoshop our images together. Basically it's a time for all of us to "play" with lighting scenarios we wouldn't otherwise, and a time to teach those in our group who don't know as much about lighting. It was REALLY fun!! Our models are usually amateurs who are working for free pictures. This is my best friend Josh who I've known since I was twelve. You'd never know from this serious picture, but he's a really funny guy. :)

This time I used a much thinner pen, the Uniball Vision Elite with red/black ink. The down side for me is that it doesn't make good dots. Other than that I like these pens.

Any readings for an online class can usually be accessed from the Learning Management System. This gives the ability to the student to use a portable computer to read the material rather then caring multiple books with them

Bucharest, Romania. Children hosted at the hotel are engaged in learning activities and online classes. The teachers are from Ukraine too, and they just arrived in the country.

I shot this for a photo illustration project.

I had to illustrate a hypothetical story about online courses and learning from the comfort of home.

I work hard to get good photos of Angelina, this is taken in daylight. I dont think any of the photos (this or the previous) gives the right picture of it.......

A few comments about the drawings: our dogs don't really have fat necks and the cats aren't deranged. The hospital I work in does actually look like a bunch of boxes and the walk from/to my car is just about 1/2 mile up and down a hill. It is unbearably hot and sunny in the afternoons and I've started walking with a parasol.
