One of the 7000 known moth species in South Africa. That's over 10 times more than butterfly species, counting 'only' 666 according to the people who did the counting!
This is a daytime flying one, while most are active at night..
On the way down from Cutthroat Pass this is one last views of the Alpine Larches all lit up as the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is about to drop below the 6000' elevation mark in the North Cascades, Washington State.
finally found one this autumn. It has been so dry in september en october that until now I did not find one single nicely photographable paddenstoel.

When you begin to think erroneously, you imagine all sorts of things are going to happen to you. Back to Earlswood Lakes for another bacon bap ( first one this year ) and a snap at whatever was around . There were a huge number swans and seagulls and a few assorted ducks and moorhens . And then silly me I noticed there was a cormorant drying and preening at the end of the tree that lays in the water next to the food servery there . Therefore , a number of shots followed although the light was pretty flat not the best today .
Anyway , this poser did a great job of putting on a show for the camera !!

There are actually two lovely little ponies kept on the property. This chesnut having a feed and the white one we saw in the "Oura Oura Slideshow", as it skipped along in the paddock below the majestic Dry's Bluff (Taytitikitheeker). Once again we can see the mountain towering up behind the little pony.
I'm dying of thirst, I must have one last drink before the search begins. I have always found this port town a wonderful place to quench my odd appetite, with much riff-raff of the lowest orders who make such fine companions when you're really feeling famished. You will often find them wandering alone some dark back alley, broken spirits long forgotten by this cold, unforgiving world and with no one to miss them after they are gone.

So when time permits, I log in and take photos around the grid.. but one boring day made me call my mimi (sl mom) and told her we need a land.. being the best mom ever, she was like "okay, get for a month"..
The happy me started to decorate our place :)
And please (if you read until here), wait for our Cafe which we will open soon ♥ It is my mimi's project! Can't wait to share with you guys how talented she is with decorating! ♥♥♥
