first of all - it's an Entwife... or Entiana...

The red tree at Hudson Yards is a 25-foot-tall sculpture called "Old Tree". It's located on the High Line at 10th Avenue and 30th Street.

The sculpture was created by Swiss artist Pamela Rosenkranz. It's made of manmade materials and is painted in shades of red and pink. The sculpture is meant to resemble the branching systems of human organs, blood vessels, and tissue. It's also meant to symbolize the Tree of Life, a natural product of nature that connects heaven and earth.

The sculpture is designed to create a social space, providing shade and intriguing conversation spots. It also raises discussions about the synthetic and the natural.

The sculpture evokes metaphors for:

- The ancient wisdom of human evolution

- A future in which the synthetic has become nature

The province of Nan is located in the north of Thailand and borders Laos. It is one of the lesser known provinces of Thailand, but is known for its natural beauty, rich culture and ancient history. It's a great place to visit if you're looking for adventure and relaxation in nature. Road 1256 passes through the mountains of Nan and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Almost the most beautiful road in Thailand, the view on the side of the road is very beautiful, if you go during the rainy season, the atmosphere will be very good. You can see the green along the two sides of the road on the ridge. In some parts you can see the beautiful view of rice fields over the hills. It may be overgrown on some parts of the road. There are several interesting sights and activities to enjoy along the way. It's great for bird watching, camping, and hiking, and you're unlikely to meet many other people while exploring. You can also visit the Doi Phu Kha National Park, which is known for its beautiful waterfalls, lush forests and spectacular views. Wonderfully cool weather all year round. In addition, there are also several hill tribe villages along the way, where you have the chance to experience the local culture and traditions.

The local people call this tree ต้นผึ้งยักษ์, Giant Bee Tree or Giant Tree. There are several bee nests in the tree. With a height of up to 40 meters and several hundred years old, this tree belongs to the Moraceae family. The Ficus albipila is a rainforest tree, a type of fig tree native to Thailand and Southeast Asia. Ficus albipila is commonly known as the "Elephant Ear Fig" or "White Fruited Fig." This species is characterized by its large, heart-shaped leaves, which resemble elephant ears, and its white fruits. The leaves have striking veins and the fruits turn from green to white when ripe. Ficus albipila is a strangler fig, meaning it often begins life on other trees and eventually encircles and strangles its host tree as it develops. Ficus albipila is well adapted to tropical climates. It plays an important ecological role as a food source for various animals, including birds and mammals, that feed on its fruits. The tree's dense foliage also provides habitat and shelter for wildlife. The Gaint Bee tree is located on the Wa River in Wiang Sa District, Nan Province. Still hanging in there despite the obvious condition.

I will do this spot justice one day...

That is when we shall meet again.

What a history this tree must have. The shape is the result of being on the leeward side of a 10,660’ elevation lake and two miles from the continental divide.

Dussia macroprophyllata is a tree that can grow around 40 metres tall. The long, straight, cylindrical bole up to 100cm in diameter and is buttressed.

I saw this beautiful tree in Veragua Rainforest in Costa Rica!

Timeless Land

Yothu Yindi

This is a timeless land

This is our land...

Just like the wise man

Who taught me the beauty

Of the creation times

The point where the mountain

Meets with the sky

Sparks a fire within my sould

Watching Mother Nature around me

Woman, creators, history

Finding these people Up in the mountain

Sharing the same old song

This is a timeless land

This is our land...

This is a timeless land

This is our land...

Well, Covid free by the looks of it, and at last feeling well enough to spend some time in front of my PC to process some images from our trip to outback NSW nearly two weeks ago now.

We were driving along a 280km dirt road, and the land was flat, for as far as the eye could see in every direction.

Then, out of literally nowhere, out of my peripheral vision, I spotted this Knarly old tree.

Skidding to a stop on a red dirt road raises some awesome dust clouds, let me tell you.

A few minutes after I shot this, we were back out of the car, chasing emus.

Brilliant amazing trip with my better half.

Hope you like “Timeless Land”

Cheers, Mike

This gorgeous tree on the edge of the water on Bribie Island on Sunday was perfectly placed for sunset. There were people along the foreshore fishing and just enjoying the last moments of the day.
