I can't help but wonder how many mutli-millions of wood-worm colonies have existed and deceased in these old timbers over the years!

Paid a visit to Ye Olde Pastie Shop on Churchgate in Bolton today, on my way back there's an old coaching inn across the road, Ye Olde Man And Scythe, with the shop next door selling new age trinkits, h'm quaint.

Until recently this unit in Canterbury city centre was a Swatch shop. Soon visitors will be convinced that they've found a historic olde worlde sweet shop(pe).

some masonic lodge in Beamish. Not a real one, but this lodge was based on one in Sunderland that was operative, and. They have lots of money that's for sure, the masons!

It was built on a very steep hill. My favourite subject - coffee!

Taken in 2010 but it has certain qualities and a lack of modern features that I think make it appear as if it had been taken in 1910.
