Much chopped, hacked and generally mutilated as the original had more yellow lines, parking bays and wheelchair graphics than you could shake a stick at!

Is this shop / photographer's studio still practising?
Hawkshead, Cumbria. The 15th century tea rooms advertised may sound old to you, but Hawkshead has been a township since "Norse" times.

When you travel through many old cities around the world, you will often see manual water pumps. Usually they were simply preserved to add a little bit of "Olde Worlde" visual charm for the tourists. But Berlin has manual water pumps all over the city, they are all well maintained, and many of them are still fully functional. Some are ornate 19th Century pumps like this one on Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg. But others, like many that I have seen in neighborhoods like Lankwitz or Steglitz look completely modern. But while signs warn you that you shouldn't drink the water that comes from them, they are still a nice place to quickly rinse the grime of the city off your hands.
