This camera belonged to my dad and has been lying around our house as long as I can remember. Maybe I inherited my love of taking pictures from him!
I was visiting my parents the other day and came across this camera. My mom told me it belonged to her dad. I never saw this camera so i guess he used it when he was young. There was also a light measure tool thingy there...named IKOPHOT from Zeiss IKON. I had to do some selective coloring to show you the lens colors. ( or maybe i am just having my selective coloring month)
I wish cameras were still made with attention to beauty as well as function. Actually, come to think of it, I wish everything were still made with attention to beauty as well as function.
I took this picture with my new Canon. This is a camera we bought when we first moved to America and it doesn't work anymore.
Taken in 1978 with a 35mm point-and-shoot film camera out the front window of a bus. I was on tour with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle corps.
My memory of that summer is as hazy as the photo.
