My Pretty Rose Tree by William Blake

A flower was offered to me;

Such a flower as May never bore.

But I said I've a Pretty Rose-tree.

And I passed the sweet flower o'er.

Then I went to my Pretty Rose-tree:

To tend her by day and by night.

But my Rose turnd away with jealousy:

And her thorns were my only delight.

The couch needs to move over to the left a little, and the lamps will obviously be painted. Are they too tall? And, the canvas is available in a longer size, so I think I better get that one instead. We do have a large map we could hang over the couch, but I wanted something with some depth.

After the bowl dries and stiffens for a while (a weekish) it is time to trim the bottom, as seen, it doesn't look much like the bottom of a bowl at the moment. the bowl is centered on the wheel again, and small pieces of clay are put down to hold it in place while it is trimmed.

You can see the shavings from previous trimming, and part of the trimming tool on the left.

From a photo set I discovered a few years ago, one of my ALL TIME favorites. It’s gotten harder to find, so I’m saving it here. Beautiful photos of a young Latin woman, 20s or 30s, in nice nylons and a cute outfit to match.

Which one is cuter? The boy- or the girl-outfit? I don´t know, I LOVE both!! In the boy outfit she looks a bit like "the little prince" :)

Nikola, thank you very much again for spoiling Luca and me so much ♥

◆Mode of action

Local systemic fungicide with good protectant and antisporulant activity. Only the (Z)- isomer is intrinsically active, but, because of rapid interconversion of isomers in the light, it has no advantage over the (E)- isomer in practice. Dimethomorph moves up the treated plant stem and into growing leaves.

◆Crops & target diseases (CROP, DISEASE, RECOMMENDED RATE)

•Cucurbits, Downy mildew, 250-300g/ha

•Grapevines, Downy mildew, 250-350g/ ha

◆Phytotoxicity

Dimethomorph was slightly phytotoxic to Eucalyptus sieberi at dosages of 1.2 mg a.i./mL. There was no evidence of significant phytotoxicity of the formulation on other target crops. .

The one bad thing about winter is that you don't find many flowers around...unless you buy them from a store or florist. This flower came in a package of potpourri...and smells like roses!
