Food of Oakland and Beyond!
I think these are the Sexy Fries from Curry Up Now food truck at the Oakland Museum's, Off The Grid food truck event.
Sweet potato fries with paneer cheese, a curry sauce, cheese, and onions. It was spicy. And really good as left overs at 2:00 in the morning...

Winter Walk 2017 is officially open. The holiday season pedestrian plaza on Stockton between Ellis and Geary hosts Off the Grid food trucks, illuminated benches, mistletoe, and wide variety of interactive features.
While paddleing up river on the Rio Amapari, our daily search for camp proved a major success with this flat, dry patch of forest to hang up our spurs for the night.
Off the Grid food trucks line up for dinner along the west side of Stockton at the 2016 Winter Walk.

Linda tries to decide which food-truck line to get into at Off the Grid's Picnic at the Presidio, where we went for supper. It was a cool evening with a chilly breeze. There were twenty-or-so food trucks and hundreds (if not thousands) of hungry people on the Presidio's Main Parade Ground for the weekly event.

Metal church at Nellie E's. Nellie E. Saloon is a solar-powered, totally green, off the grid saloon located 5 miles of dirt road past Cienega Springs Rd. /Hwy 95, outside of Parker AZ. It is tough going to get there and they don't have any good beer but we enjoyed every minute of our visit. www.thedesertbar.com/
