This side event, co-hosted by IRENA and Norway, presented IRENA’s findings on off-grid and brought together practitioners to share experiences and identify concrete actions needed to scale-up off-grid renewable energy deployment.

This is a portable solar power system designed to be used 2 different ways. The actual sling pack can be carried without the hard case to keep weight down or the sling pack can be placed into the waterproof hard case so the battery and electronics are protected from bad weather.

 

This system has a battery capacity of 40 Amp Hours @ 12.8V DC. The MPPT Solar Charge Controller can handle 200w of Solar input at any given time. The DC output is limited to 40 Amps. The AC Inverter is 400W continuous. The solar panels shown are GSE P3-62 62w Folding solar panels and weight about 3 pounds each.
